Towards the end of 2009 S..t Skittle combo SKULL PAGODA unleashed the rather ramshackle yet brilliant "Men of Rock" CD-R. On this debut Fudgeway Amusements release M. H. - Those simian lovin' beer humpin' monobrow mavericks are represented by THE CIVIL SERVANT, JEFF PRIEST (Whoops! Sorry your name got cut from the sleeve credits!) and MR. UNWANTED TEENAGE PREGNANCY who take that initial vomitous Skull Pagoda blueprint to neu unruly dimensions. The album (and it's an absolute corker!) is a series of 23 two minute trailer length pieces that pay homage to the world of cinema. Although it has to be said many of the tracks bear little or no resemblance at all to each songs title. It's a sprawling yee-haa-haa of psychotic textures, loops, sax blat, frenetic bass wank, manic fritz jibber?!?!, routinely dissected by sudden violent outbursts of punk rock slide guitar thuggery. Pressed up in a run of just 41 copies because we hate you. No we don't, we love you really. No, actually we really hate you. HAIR have learnt they will be playing at the FENTLESHAM ROCKS! FESTIVAL, FENTLESHAM, SUSSEX, ENGLAND this afternoon. The band will be playing as PUCKERED STFISH 2 and will be represented by Mirelle, The Nite Kunt and Nil Bymouth. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! OH NAUGHTY Fentlesham Rocks organisers the website link you gave us does not function! 27TH JUNE 2010 PUCKERED STFISH 2 would like to apologise for their shortened than planned set yesterday. Although turning up at the festival well before agreed stage time they were late in gaining entry due to the unreasonable if not downright ignorant actions of the twat on gate duty. According to several emails recieved a lot of attendees were also denied entry.
